Due to the massive shelling by Russia targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure, the country is facing frequent power outages. These attacks pose a threat to the energy system, damaging critical facilities and causing disruptions in electricity, heating, and water supply.

Recommendations during power outages:

  • Charge your devices: Always keep your mobile phones, laptops, and other essential devices fully charged. This will ensure you remain connected during prolonged outages.
  • Purchase portable power stations: Portable power stations or power banks can help keep your devices running for extended periods without electricity.
  • Internet connectivity: Mobile internet typically functions only for a few hours after a power outage. The best option for stable internet access is to install GPON, a technology that works without electricity, using backup power.
  • Website for outage schedules: To get up-to-date information on power outages in the Mykolaiv region, visit the official website of "Mykolaivoblenergo" (https://www.energy.mk.ua). There you can find schedules for planned and emergency outages.
