Ihor Nabatov, deputy director of the Mykolaiv Department of Housing and Communal Services, said this during a meeting of the commission on housing and communal services, NikVesti.
During the meeting, Mykolaiv City Council member Yurii Stepanets asked whether condominiums had applied to the Department of Housing and Communal Services for compensation for the purchase of generators.
«As far as I remember, in 2025, there were only four applications for compensation under our programme, which is valid until the end of 2025 on a 50-50 basis. Unfortunately, the number of outages is only growing, so we have included this measure in the reform programme for 2026. We are planning to allocate appropriate funds for the implementation of these measures,» said Ihor Nabatov.
As a reminder, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, said that in case of emergencies with power outages, the region will have a plan «Island».
People in Pivdennoukrainsk demand to ease the schedules of power outages: what is known
As you know, at the session in Pivdennoukrainsk, local residents complained about long power outages, while the city has no alternative energy sources. In this regard, the mayor sent official letters to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, Ukrenergo and Mykolaiv Regional State Administration asking them to grant Pivdennoukrainsk the status of a «high security facility» and to take into account the lack of gas supply.
During a press conference, the Pivdennoukrainsk City Council informed local residents that it had asked the government to revise the schedules of power outages, but received a response that granting special conditions to the city of would be considered discrimination against other consumers.
Subsequently, the Ministry of Energy promised to review the current conditions of the blackout schedules in Pivdennoukrainsk.
According to Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, the issue was raised during a meeting in Kharkiv dedicated to the life of the frontline regions. Among other topics, they discussed the situation with power outages in Pivdennoukrainsk.
