Paint was poured over a synagogue in Mykolaiv: the police have not yet found the culprits

The law enforcement officers have not yet been able to identify the culprits who poured paint over the synagogue in Mykolaiv.

Serhii Makhno, the head of the GDNP of the Mykolaiv region, told about this during a press conference on Friday, December 29, NikVesti reports.

We remind that on the morning of October 26 in Mykolaiv, unknown persons painted red paint on the building of the synagogue of the Jewish community, located in the center of the city.

Serhii Makhno noted that it was not possible to arrest the culprits after hot pursuit. However, there are a number of people who are being investigated for involvement in the case.

«It was not possible to identify the person who committed the crime following a hot pursuit. The scene was inspected. There are certain fragments of the video, a certain legal basis, which I do not have the right to disclose. Operative work, investigative actions to identify the person are being carried out. Criminal proceedings have been opened, the person has not been identified. There are a number of people involved in this case,» he said.

It is worth recalling that the SSU previously exposed the special services of the Russian Federation for recruiting Ukrainian teenagers for anti-semitic provocations in various regions of Ukraine.
