The municipal enterprise «Mykolaiv Parks» has announced a tender for the purchase of another unit of specialised street cleaning equipment. It is a sweeper complete with attachments.

This is evidenced by data from the ProZorro public procurement system, according to NikVesti.

The purchase price is ₴764,930. According to the terms of the tender, the equipment may not be new, but the year of manufacture must be no earlier than 2008. The permissible mileage is no more than 8,000 kilometres (+5%). The machine is intended for cleaning roads, sidewalks and narrow streets.

The deadline for submitting bids is 21 August. The winner must deliver the vehicle no later than 31 December.

A year ago, deputies of the Mykolaiv City Council approved a 43 million hryvnias loan for the municipal enterprise «Mykolaiv Parks» to purchase new equipment — 40% of the cost will be financed by the Danish Export Investment Fund.

New equipment for ME «Parks»

A year ago, in September 2024, deputies of the Mykolaiv City Council approved a loan of 43 million hryvnias for ME «Mykolaiv Parks» for the purchase of new equipment. As reported, it will be used for winter and summer cleaning of the city.

The loan amount is 60% of the total cost of the equipment, which is €1 million.

The draft decision, published on the city council website on 28 August 2024, initially stated that Denmark should finance 40% of the purchase of equipment.

However, in the updated draft decision published on the city council website on 23 September 2024, the information about the Danes' 40% funding disappeared. It only states that «part of the funds will be paid for by grants from the Danish Export Investment Fund», but it does not specify what percentage of funding is involved.

After that, the budget committee recommended that the session consider the draft decision, but only if the document states that the advance payment of 40% of the total amount will be covered by grant funds from the Danish Export Investment Fund.
