Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation, together with customs officials, confiscated 10 tons of tools for repair at the customs and handed them over to the National Guard of Ukraine.

It is reported that tools manufactured by a Russian company were tried to be brought to our country through third countries.

These are tools for repair, the total cost of which is 4 million hryvnias. They were planned to be implemented by using gasket companies for this.

«The goods were seized within the framework of criminal proceedings for aiding the aggressor country (Part 2 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of up to 7 years,» the message reads.

The seized tools were handed over to one of the special forces brigades of the National Guard of Ukraine. The National Guardsmen lost their repair and logistics base during the fighting for Mariupol in 2022. They will now be able to use recovery supplies.

Earlier it was reported that the State Enterprise «Setam» auctioned a package of yeast confiscated from a resident of the Mykolaiv Oblast.
