Zelenskyy thanked Mykolaiv rescuers for eliminating the consequences of Russian shelling

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Mykolaiv rescuers for their dedication and professionalism.

The Head of State said this in an evening address on February 11.

The President of Ukraine thanked all the rescuers for eliminating the consequences of enemy shelling.

«Today, I would like to especially note the team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine — each and every one who works at the sites of hits, extinguishes fires, and dismantles debris. Kharkiv and region, Zaporizhzhia and region, Kherson Region, Mykolaiv Region, Sumy Region, Chernihiv Region. In each of our communities, there is always help, there are always those who save after Russian shelling,» said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy separately recognized Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kyiv rescuers.

«And today I would like to single out the employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region — chief master sergeants Dmytro Pavinskyi, Denys Shapovalov, Oleksii Nazarenko, captain Artem Yehorov and lieutenant colonel Serhii Azartsov. Thanks guys! I would also like to mention the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region — Sergeants Dmytro Pikha and Vasyl Levkov, Master Sergeant Ihor Ponomarenko, Chief Master Sergeants Mykola Bashlyk and Serhii Kurichenko, as well as Major Oleksandr Dovgopol. Thank you for your dedication! And it is also worth noting the employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv, who always promptly eliminate the consequences of shelling and help the people of Kyiv when needed. Sergeants of the civil protection service Taras Romantsov, Orest Havryliuk, Serhii Bezpalyi, master sergeant Ivan Kaharlytskyi and chief master sergeant Oleksandr Shostka. We will remind you that on the night of February 11, the Russians attacked Mykolaiv with ten UAVs. A 47-year-old man was injured. As a result of the impact, the territory of the infrastructure object caught fire, the fire was extinguished by rescuers.
