Hetmantsev: The increase in taxes this year will bring ₴30 billion to the budget

The law on raising taxes will increase revenues to the state budget by 30 billion hryvnias by the end of the year.

This was announced by the head of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, during a briefing in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukrinform writes.

According to him, in 2025, revenues to the state budget from the implementation of the initiative will amount to 135 billion hryvnias.

«If we talk about the results of the increase, we calculate that this year it will add 30 billion hryvnias to the budget,» said Danylo Hetmantsev.

The head of the parliamentary committee reminded that the main changes include an increase in the military levy for the period until December 31 of the year in which martial law will be lifted.

The military tax rate is increased from 1.5% to 5%, while the military tax for military personnel remains at 1.5%.

Also, the military levy is set at the rate of 1% of the income of payers of the single tax of group 3, for the individual entrepreneurs — payers of the single tax of groups 1, 2 and 4 at the level of 10% of the minimum wage.

Also, the rate of income tax for banks for 2024 is set at 50%, for income of non-bank financial institutions (except insurers) — 25%.

In particular, for economy bookings, the tax period for reporting income paid to individuals is changing from quarterly to monthly.
