In February, residents of Mykolaiv sent almost 750 requests to the city's Call Centre 1588.
This was reported during an open staff meeting on Monday, 2 March, by Olena Bulavka, head of the Call Centre 1588's citizen request processing department, according to NikVesti.
According to her, residents most often complained about fallen branches and trees.
«Over the past month, 750 complaints were received and 759 were resolved. As of today, 3,577 complaints are being processed. Most of them concern trees, water quality, excavations and leaks. These are issues that always remain relevant,» said Olena Bulavka.

«On Facebook, in the Contact Centre group, 87 requests have been accepted and 104 have been completed. With photo reports, 67 requests have been processed, which is 64.4%. As of today, 605 requests are being processed by the Contact Centre on Facebook. Most requests are received by the municipal enterprise Mykolaivvodokanal, which has a significant number of requests but processes them very quickly. For example, Mykolaivvodokanal currently has 189 requests, although they receive about 200-250 requests per month and process them at the same rate,» she added.
In January, Mykolaiv residents sent almost 800 requests to the city's Call Centre 1588. Most often, residents complained about problems with trees, in particular, falling branches and trees during icy conditions.
In February, several trees fell in different parts of Mykolaiv due to bad weather.
According to Roman Vozniak, head of the Department of Emergency Situations and Civil Protection of the Mykolaiv City Council, trees fell at the following addresses: 9 Slobidska, 59 and 4 Kolodiazna street. In addition, some of the trees damaged cars.
