Night attack on Mykolaiv: Russians used 14 drones

During the night attack on Mykolaiv on 22 February, Russian troops used fourteen air targets, two of which hit their mark.

This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, on the air of the telethon «Yedyni Novyny».

As is known, on the night and early morning of 22 February, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed 131/136 strike drones.

«We have two victims, a 58-year-old married couple, one with moderate injuries and one with minor injuries. In total, there were fourteen air targets, two hits, and all the others were shot down. Moreover, the enemy is changing tactics, terrorising us even during the day. This morning, a Shahed was shot down over the city, and its debris damaged residential buildings,» said Vitalii Kim.

Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed drones: what is known

On the night and early morning of 22 February, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed 131/136 strike drones . According to Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, the attack damaged transport infrastructure.

It later became known that the shelling damaged the energy infrastructure. About 16,000 subscribers were left without electricity.

Later, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych reported that the Shahed drones attack had caused damage to residential buildings in Mykolaiv. In particular, the loggias and several windows of apartment buildings were damaged.

Later, Vitalii Kim reported that a 58-year-old husband and wife were injured as a result of the Shahed drones attack. Both are in moderate condition and have been hospitalised.
