Import in Mykolaiv before the war played a crucial role in the city’s economic development. As a port city, Mykolaiv benefited from its strategic geographic location, facilitating active trade and the importation of goods via sea routes. Key areas of import included:

  • Raw materials: metal, oil and petroleum products, construction materials.
