Russian hackers attacked Ukrainian television channels, broadcasting propaganda

Russian hackers attacked Ukrainian television channels on the morning of March 28th. Propaganda videos of the occupiers were broadcasted on the channels of the 1+1 media holding.

The Strategic Communications and Information Security Center, with reference to the 1+1 media holding, reported this.

It is stated that the enemy tried to jam the following channels: 1+1 Ukraine, 1+1 Marathon, TET, PlusPlus, Bigudi, 2+2, UNIAN, and others.

The Strategic Communications Center notes that as a result of such attacks, Ukrainian broadcasts were interrupted and Russian propaganda videos were broadcasted instead. It is emphasized that the Russians resort to such actions to destabilize the situation in Ukraine.

Later, the problem was resolved, and the channels resumed their normal broadcasts. Ukrainians in the media holding are urged to adhere to information hygiene in order not to help the enemy spread disinformation.
