The first two IDP families received manor-type houses built in the village of Domanivka, Mykolaiv Oblast, at the expense of the Kingdom of Denmark.
This was reported by Antonina Sharata, acting head of the Voznesensk District Military Administration, during a briefing, according to NikVesti.
«The issue of housing remains problematic, but communities are still working on it. Voznesensk City Council has allocated housing for 12 internally displaced persons from its municipal fund. And the Domanivka Village Council, with the support of the Ukrainian Community Recovery Fund, funded by the Danish government, launched a project last year to build manor-type houses for internally displaced persons as social housing. Two houses have already been built and at the end of February two families have already received orders and are preparing to move into the houses,» said Antonina Sharata.
There are plans to build four more such manor houses, she added. However, Sharata emphasised that this will not fully solve the housing issue for all IDP families currently living in Domanivka.
«It is planned to build four more such houses. Although this will not solve the issue, as there are more than 20 such families in Domanivka village council alone, these are the first steps towards ensuring that internally displaced persons have the opportunity to live in comfortable and decent conditions,» said Antonina Sharata.

As a reminder, at the end of October 2024, the construction of modular houses for IDPs began in Pivdenoukrainsk. Later it became known that at least 2 million 150 thousand hryvnias was needed to implement the project to build a modular town in the city.
