On the night of August 16, Ukrainian forces attacked a ferry crossing in Kerch, as well as a boat in Chornomorsk.

This was announced by the speaker of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army «South» Serhii Bratchuk.

«Night attack on Crimea, previously affected: a ferry crossing in the port of Kerch, a boat in the Black Sea. The road survey is ongoing,» the post reads.

It will be recalled that a series of explosions was heard in the occupied Crimea on the night of August 9. According to the media, explosions and shooting were heard in the village of Chornomorske, located in the west of the peninsula. There were also reports of explosions in Sevastopol.

Also, the Defense Forces hit the submarine of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation «Rostov-on-Don» in the port of Sevastopol.

Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, said that a new wave of deportations of families of Russian officials from Crimea is observed after the strikes of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on military facilities on the peninsula.

It should be noted that Russian citizens refuse tours in Crimea due to the unreliable operation of the air defense system of the occupiers and the vulnerable Kerch Bridge, which remains «the main artery for so-called tourism from Russia and is used by Moscow for military logistics.»
