Almost ₴3.5 billion can be spent on the construction of a cluster hospital in Mykolaiv

In Mykolaiv, they want to build a medical and diagnostic complex that will combine the functions of several operating hospitals into one body. 3.5 billion hryvnias will be spent on these works.

This is stated in the Program of Economic and Social Development of the Mykolaiv Oblast for 2024, adopted during the session of the regional council on December 14, NikVesti writes.

The estimated cost of the project is 85.5 million euros. Funding will be raised from other sources not prohibited by law.

According to the document, the construction of a cluster medical facility is among the investment projects, the work on which will continue in the period from 2024 to 2027. The construction will include the unification of several operating hospitals into one modern complex.

We remind you that in August, the head of the health care department of the city council, Iryna Shamrai, said that in Mykolaiv they plan to create three cluster hospitals and. Later, she reported that the city is preparing documentation for the future construction of a cluster hospital on 3rd Slobidska Street.

As you know, the construction will involve partners from Kazakhstan, who were involved in the reconstruction of the trauma center in the Emergency Hospital, as stated by the head of Mykolaiv RMA Vitalii Kim.
