The visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba to China is important for clarifying the damage caused by the war with Russia. The USA emphasizes that it is necessary for each country to understand who is the aggressor.

This was stated by the spokesman of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, commenting on Kuleba's visit to China, Ukrinform reported.

«It is important for China to learn directly from Ukraine about the damage it has suffered due to Russia's aggressive war,» the representative of the State Department noted.

He reminded that the PRC helps fuel hostilities by supporting Russia's defense and industrial base.

«We have always clearly stated that it is important for every country in the world to recognize that there is an aggressor and a victim in this conflict. And we should not treat the two parties as if they bear equal responsibility,» added Matthew Miller.

The State Department spokesman also emphasized that the United States had clearly emphasized this when communicating with the Chinese side.

«I know that other NATO members and European countries have also made this clear to Russia. And we believe that at any time it is important for any country, including China, to hear (about the situation, note) directly from Ukraine,» emphasized the representative of the US State Department.

It should be noted that last year the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China published a «peace plan» for the settlement of the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine. Beijing calls for negotiations.
