This autumn , Norway will deploy its F-35 fighter jets to Poland to strengthen NATO's air and missile defence.
This was announced by the Norwegian Ministry of Defence.
The main task of the aircraft is to protect Polish airspace and defend the logistics hub in Rzeszów, which is used to deliver international military assistance to Ukraine.
«This is an extremely important contribution. We are helping to ensure that the aid reaches its destination and that Ukraine can continue its fight for freedom», said Norwegian Defence Minister Tore Sandvik.
