The Head of State announced this on social media.
Donald Tusk passed on information from Polish law enforcement and intelligence agencies on the subversive activities that have been recorded recently. In particular, the Telegram platform was used to organise it and spread disinformation against Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Russia daily directs similar subversive attempts against Ukraine, in particular against the railway infrastructure. According to him, the available data from both sides coincide and directly point to the Russian trace.
Ukraine is ready to share all the necessary information with its partners, and the presidents agreed to set up a joint Ukrainian-Polish group to work on preventing further Russian operations.
The Polish Prime Minister also expressed his condolences to those killed in Ternopil and those injured in other regions of Ukraine as a result of Russia's recent attacks.
As a reminder, railway tracks were damaged in Poland on one of the sections of the Warsaw-Lublin route used to transport aid to Ukraine. Therefore, due to possible terrorist attacks and sabotage, Poland has increased security on part of the railway infrastructure.
It should also be noted that the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language, Olena Ivanovska, expressed support for the possible blocking of the Telegram messenger as one of the tools to combat Russian propaganda.
She believes that Ukraine must consistently limit the channels of dissemination of hostile narratives if it wants to secure its future and preserve its Ukrainian identity. According to her, without such decisions, the country risks losing its information space.
Earlier, Petro Poroshenko called for a ban on Telegram in Ukraine. He stated that Telegram is currently being used to organise anti-Ukrainian terrorist acts.
At the same time, Petro Poroshenko's speech on the ban was published on his official Telegram channel, which currently has almost 80,000 subscribers.
