This was announced by the head of the Lviv RMA Maksym Kozytskyi.
According to the head of the RMA, the soil collapsed at a depth of more than 500 meters. There may be two miners under the rubble.
The press service of the state enterprise «Lvivvuhillia» reported that the collapse occurred at 1:20 p.m.
«On June 29, at 1:20 p.m. at the «Renaissance» mine of the Lvivvuhillia SE, at the junction of assembly chamber 174 with conveyor line 174 of the «Sokalskyi» layer, under the influence of mining pressure, the roof rocks collapsed,» the message reads.
They said that two miners died as a result of the collapse.
We will remind you that Ukrainian women went to work in mines to replace men who went to defend the Motherland. In particular, about 400 women work underground in DTEK coal mines in eastern Ukraine.
