International partners have donated two rescue vehicles and equipment to the local fire brigade of the Shevchenkove community in Mykolaiv region.

According to the Mykolaiv Regional Fire Department, the aid was received during a study visit of a delegation from Mykolaiv region to Ulm, Germany.

The pilot project is being implemented by the Federal Agency for Technical Assistance in cooperation with the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Emergency Relief. Representatives from Kharkiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions also joined the visit.

The project is aimed at supporting local fire brigades and volunteer rescue units. Its components include an analysis of the available equipment, the supply of basic equipment, and training activities: experience exchanges, trainings, consultations, and methodological support.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Germany has already provided more than €133 million in aid to Ukraine from THW.

Earlier it was reported that Mykolaiv region received ten new police cars from Lower Saxony for police officers.
