This was announced by the Berezanka Territorial Community on its Facebook page.
It is noted that in May this year, the Berezanka Town Council entered into a strategic partnership with the UNICEF Ukraine Office in Odesa as part of the approved UNICEF Programme Document.
«The main aim of this joint effort is to ensure a sustainable supply of safe water, create decent sanitary conditions and promote good hygiene practices in our community,» the statement reads.

The materials will be used to repair the most dilapidated sections of the water supply networks in the villages of Kalynivka, Vasylivka, Shchaslyve and other settlements within the community.
In total, by the end of 2026, the community will receive materials and equipment worth over 8.7 million hryvnias. The aid includes over 31.1 kilometres of polyethylene pipes, as well as fittings and equipment for their installation.
The council noted that all the resources received will be handed over to municipal utilities, which will replace worn-out and outdated water supply systems.
«Old pipes, which have been in use underground for decades, lead to constant breakdowns, water losses and a deterioration in water quality. New PE pipes have a service life of over 50 years; they are corrosion-resistant and ensure that drinking water reaches our residents’ homes clean and safe,» the community added.
Previously, the Berezanka community received four modern power stations from German partners, which will be installed in educational establishments.
