The Mykolaiv region has received ten new police cars from the state of Lower Saxony for police officers.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
It is noted that these cars will effectively ensure the mobility of police officers in hromadas, in particular in remote and rural areas of the region.
Each community police officer ensures law and order for approximately 6,000 residents in rural areas or seven thousand in urban areas. Thus, this step will improve the safety of tens of thousands of residents of the region.
The vehicles were handed over to the Pervomaisk, Novoodessky, Sukhoyelanetska, Berezanska, Pryvilnenska, Domanivska, Horokhivska and Bereznehuvatska hromadas.

As a reminder, the city of Hanover, which is the administrative centre of the German federal state of Lower Saxony, donated equipment to Mykolaiv to support the operation of educational institutions and utilities.
Mykolaiv also received two Volkswagen cars from the German city of Hanover.
