Shelters will be repaired in six houses in Mykolaiv: ₴1.7 million will be spent on the work by the DHCS

In Mykolaiv, they plan to equip shelters in six houses — they plan to allocate 1.7 million hryvnias for the work.

Relevant tenders were published by the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Mykolaiv City Council on the public procurement site Prozorro, NikVesti writes.

Work on arranging the shelter is planned to be carried out at the following addresses:

  • Velyka Morska, 20 — cost 224 thousand 675 hryvnias;
  • Sylikatna, 265-A — cost 274 thousand 675 hryvnias;
  • Shoseina, 14 — cost 285 thousand 675 hryvnias;
  • Tsentralnyi, 21 — cost 315 thousand 675 hryvnias;
  • Halyna Petrova, 1 — cost 277 thousand 675 hryvnias;
  • Heroes of Ukraine, 13-D — cost 342 thousand 675 hryvnias.

According to the tender conditions, the contractor must carry out a set of works, including the installation of steel fire doors, cementing of the floor, laying of bricks and aerated concrete blocks, plastering and wall cladding with ceramic tiles. Pipeline laying, installation of lighting and plumbing, connection to water supply and sewerage are also provided.

The work must be completed by June 15, 2024. During the execution of works, the contractor must comply with all safety, occupational health and environmental requirements. In addition, he is obliged to correct any defects within 5 days after their discovery.

Earlier, the housing and communal services department of Mykolaiv reported that this year they plan to equip 36 shelters in residential buildings, educational institutions and hospitals.

«Last year, we made 6 shelters in the basements of residential buildings. This year we are making 8 shelters, some of which have already been made. And we are planning 28 shelters this year. This is without those 8 that are in the process. In other words, we have a total of 36 shelters in the current year,» Artem Sapozhnyk, Deputy Director of the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Mykolaiv City Council, said in a comment to NikVesti.

Of them, 8 shelters will accommodate 100-200 people, one shelter will accommodate more than 600 people, and another 20 shelters will accommodate up to 50 people. The remaining 7 shelters will be arranged in educational institutions and hospitals.
