During the two years of occupation of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, more than 150 gross violations of the operation of the nuclear power plant were recorded.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the government meeting.

«Two years ago, armed Russian soldiers, contrary to all norms of international law, occupied the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. An unprecedented case in history, which brought the continent to the brink of disaster,» the message reads.

Denys Shmyhal added that Ukraine has a «clear and understandable position» regarding the de-occupation of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

«This is the activation of the toughest sanctions against the Russian Federation, the use of all possible instruments of the International Atomic Energy Agency and the UN, and the return of Ukrainian control over the station as soon as possible,» the prime minister said.

Note that on March 4, two years have passed since Russian troops occupied the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
