Ukrainian hackers, who are associated with the SSU cyber department, destroyed a data center used by Russian industrial giants. Among them are Gazprom, Lukoil, Telecom and leading enterprises of the Russian military industry.

As the interlocutor explained, in the OwenCloud cloud service. ru more than 10,000 Russian legal entities kept their data. In particular, we are talking about enterprises of the Russian military industry, oil and gas, metallurgical, aerospace complexes, as well as telecommunication giants. Among them are «Ural Civil Aviation Plant», «RUBYN» NVP, which is part of the Roselectronica holding, «Ural Special Equipment Plant», Gazprom, Transgaz, Lukoil, Rosneft, «Norilsk Nickel», Rostelecom, Telecom, Megafon.

According to sources, this was a joint operation of the Ukrainian hacker group «BLACKJACK» with the cyber department of the SBU. As a result of the successful operation, more than 300 terabytes of data were destroyed. In particular, 400 virtual and 42 physical servers, which housed internal documentation, backup copies and other programs through which clients remotely managed production processes at enterprises.

In addition, as a result of a DDoS attack, cyber specialists of the Main Directorate of Intelligence gained access to the servers of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Also, specialists of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and activists of the «BO Team» group carried out a number of cyber attacks on Russian facilities.
