«Having returned to my native unit, where my career as a professional soldier began, I take command of a glorious brigade with great honor and responsibility. All of you are experienced soldiers, military professionals who have repeatedly proved their courage and devotion to Ukraine both on the battlefield and in the rear. Not with words, but with deeds — every day reliably protecting our land from the enemy, you faithfully fulfill your military duty,» he said.

Mykyta Vitek promised to effectively solve the issue of providing soldiers at the front and make efforts to return captured soldiers from the brigade.

«Honor, courage, loyalty are unshakable values with which a marine paves his way. When we talk about honor, we always remain loyal to our commander, and a commander remains loyal to his unit. When we talk about devotion, we are talking, first of all, about devotion to each other. Each of our shots is a shot FOR our brothers. Covering the brothers. In revenge for a fallen brother. For a brother who is being tortured in captivity. As for the prisoners, we will do everything possible and impossible to bring every marine back home,» he said.
