Voznesensk has announced a second tender for the overhaul of the canteen at school №5. The expected cost of the work has decreased by 147 thousand hryvnias.
This is evidenced by the data of the ProZorro public procurement system, according to NikVesti.
The first tender was announced in December 2024. Back then, it was planned to spend 10 million 800 thousand 348 hryvnias on the works. However, the tender was cancelled due to the lack of bids.
A new tender for 10 million 657 thousand 924 hryvnias with adjustments was announced on 17 September this year. The amount decreased by 147 thousand.
As reported by the Voznesensk City Council in response to a NikVesti request, the project was adjusted based on an analysis to ensure that it meets current standards and technical requirements for food service units in schools, kindergartens and children's recreation facilities.
The total cost of the work is currently estimated at 11 million 274 thousand 383 hryvnias. Funding will come from the state and local budgets, with the city allocating almost 1.5 million hryvnias.
The project involves the construction of a dining room for 100 pupils, a hot and vegetable shop, a sink, a cold room, warehouses, as well as a bathroom, shower and changing room for staff.
The facility will replace outdated equipment with new ones, renovate the interior, install new doors and windows, and repair water supply, sewerage, electrical and ventilation systems. A ramp for people with reduced mobility will also be installed.
In Kobleve, the modernisation of the canteen and catering department of the local lyceum has been completed by 65%. Currently, an additional 4.4 million hryvnias has been allocated for repairs due to the discovery of an emergency stove.
