Zelenskyy comments on «Easter truce»: Drones in the sky show Putin's true face

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, photo: Office of the PresidentPresident of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on Russia's latest attack with attack drones, which took place after 17:00 on Saturday, 19 April.
In his address, he stressed that this demonstrates the true attitude of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Easter and human life.
«As for Putin's latest attempt to play with people's lives, an air raid alert is now spreading across Ukraine. At 17:15, Russian attack drones were spotted in our skies. Ukrainian air defence and aviation have already started working to defend ourselves. Shahed drones in our skies are Putin's true attitude to Easter and to people's lives», Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.
This happened against the backdrop of the Kremlin's announcement of the so-called «Easter truce» announced by Putin. The Russians declared their readiness to cease fire from the evening of 19 April to midnight on 21 April, but only if Ukraine complies with the ceasefire.
