US President Donald Trump said that the war between Russia and Ukraine could either end quickly or drag on forever.
He said this during a press conference with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, reports «Voice of America».
Donald Trump noted that he had held phone conversations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
«I think we are making good progress, we are moving well. Either the war is going to end very quickly or it's not going to end at all,» Donald Trump said.
He also said that on Friday, 28 February, he plans to sign an agreement on rare earth minerals with Zelenskyy. According to him, this agreement will make Ukraine and the United States «major partners».
Earlier, Donald Trump said that during the negotiations on ending the war in Ukraine, the United States would seek to return as much of the Russian-occupied territories to Ukraine as possible.
