In the Pervomaisk community in Mykolaiv region, 60% of the houses destroyed by the Russian military have been restored.

This is stated in the story of the TV channel «Rada».

It is noted that in the first months of the full-scale war, more than 3,400 community facilities, both private sector and those belonging to the infrastructure and social sphere, were damaged by shelling.

Today, less than half of the residents have returned to their homes because they have nowhere else to live. Some people spent two years rebuilding their destroyed houses on their own. This is the case of Vasylyna Rubanyak, a resident of Kyselivka, who returned home in April 2023.

«The windows are broken, the doors are broken, swallows fly around the house, the ceiling was hit by», she recalls her house after the shelling.

She took all the destroyed property out of the house and replaced the windows. The village council and volunteers helped to cover the roof.

In total, 900 damaged houses were restored in the Pervomaisk community in 2024. They were repaired at the expense of the state and donors.

It is worth reminding that during the full-scale invasion,1259 facilities of Mykolaivoblenergo were damaged by Russian shelling. Almost all of them have been repaired.
