In Mykolaiv, Varvarivskyi descent will become pedestrian, and a roundabout will be arranged at the intersection with Buzkyi Boulevard

In Mykolaiv, the executive committee approved changes to the organization of traffic in Zavodskyi district.

The corresponding decision was made by the members of the executive committee.

The document states that the section of the Varvarivskyi descent, from the intersection with Nikolska Street to the intersection with Buzkyi Boulevard, will soon become pedestrianized.

In addition, a self-regulating intersection with traffic on a ring road will be arranged at the intersection of Varvarivskyi descent with Buzkyi Boulevard.

However, it is clarified that this decision is put into effect from the moment of the actual implementation of the project. First of all, the Department of Housing and Urban Development must develop a road traffic organization scheme and approve it in the patrol police department in the Mykolaiv region.

We would like to remind you that in Mykolaiv a traffic scheme called «turbo-ring» or «turbo-carousel» will be introduced at intersections with circular traffic.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development noted that the «turbo-ring» scheme in Mykolaiv is designed to speed up the movement of cars at roundabouts and reduce the number of road accidents due to the insufficient regulation of traffic rules when moving around the ring.
