It is planned to rebuild the school that was destroyed on Easter night in Snihurivka: the design is ongoing

In the city of Snihurivka in the Mykolayiv region, they want to rebuild one of the educational institutions that was hit by a missile. The design stage is currently underway.

The head of the Snihurivka MMA, Ivan Kukhta, told about this, NikVesti reports.

As you know, the shelling of the community took place on Easter night, April 16. Then two teenagers died as a result of an enemy attack in the village of Pavlivka in the Snihurivka region. In Snihurivka itself, three educational institutions, a hospital, a cultural center and residential buildings were damaged that night.

The authorities will work together with donors and with the involvement of state funds to restore the school, says the head of the community.

— The facility is partially destroyed. This part is being designed. But, unfortunately, everything is not happening so quickly. Designing takes time. However, the work is in progress, it continues, I think that in the near future, maybe in a month, we will receive the project, and we will be able to restore the facility, — said Ivan Kukhta.

As you know, as of November, about 14,000 people live in the de-occupied Snihurivka community. However, there are about 7,000 in the city itself.

We remind, on November 10, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated Snihurivka from the Russian occupiers. Read about how local people lived under the control of the Russian Federation and by whose forces the community was liberated in the article NikVesti.
