Nine-storey building to be reconstructed in Odesa region after Russian attacks

The reconstruction of a nine-storey building in Serhiivka, Odesa region, which was damaged by Russian attacks on 1 July 2022, is underway. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of April this year.
According to the press service of the regional Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service, the reconstruction of the damaged high-rise building began in late 2023.
It is noted that all engineering networks have already been laid, the building structure has been restored, walls have been erected, the facade and interior walls of the entrances have been painted, ceramic tiles have been laid in the bathrooms and linoleum has been laid in the apartments, and a ventilation system has been installed in the bomb shelter.
In addition, the installation of ramps and handrails is at the final stage. The walls in the apartments are being painted and switches and sockets are being installed. The roof of the building is being restored.
It is reported that the reconstruction is funded by the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
The nine-storey building in Serhiivka, Odesa region, was destroyed on 1 July 2022. Then the Russians fired three X-22 missiles at the village — one of them hit the basement of the building. The explosion completely destroyed the first entrance, while the other two were severely damaged. 105 out of 106 apartments in the nine-storey building were destroyed.

Earlier it was reported that the repair of a 16-storey building in Odesa, which was damaged by a Russian missile on 29 December 2023, continues. So far, the reinforced concrete frame has been restored and monolithic work has been carried out.
