In the Peresypskyi district of Odesa, the city has completed the restoration of a residential building that was damaged as a result of Russian attacks. The cost of the work was 2.9 million hryvnias.

According to the Odesa City Council, the building is located on Zoia Pasichna Lane (Apolon Skalkovskyi Lane) and was heavily damaged in July 2023.

According to experts, the facade of the building was destroyed by 90% and the roof by 40%.

«According to the project, work was carried out to replace the roof, restore the facade, the heating station, and install a drainage system. The works were completed in accordance with the terms of», said Artem Zakharov, Deputy Director of the Municipal Economy Department.

The city council reminded that funds for the repair of this building, as well as a number of other facilities, were allocated during an extraordinary session in January 2024. At that time, the deputies agreed to allocate almost 90 million hryvnias to eliminate the consequences of the attacks in the city.

Earlier it was reported that last year, three apartment buildings damaged during Russian shelling were overhauled in Odesa.

More than 45 million hryvnias was to be paid to a construction company that did not have the skilled workers and material and technical facilities to carry out the work.
