«More yes than no», Kim allowed participation in elections, but did not say in which ones

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, has said that he is indeed considering running in the elections when they are held in Ukraine. However, he did not specify whether he was talking about presidential, parliamentary or local elections.

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration said this on Radio NV.

In the context of discussions about the possible holding of elections in Ukraine in the coming months, Vitalii Kim stressed that the primary condition should be a guarantee of the right to vote for all citizens, including the military, who are currently defending their country.

«I am not personally afraid of elections, but I share the opinion that we need to ensure the full rights of everyone who wants to vote. First of all, these are the guys and girls who are defending our country. They have to determine the direction of our country's development, and they have the right to safely cast their votes in the current elections,» said Vitalii Kim.

Answering the host's question whether he plans to run in the upcoming elections, the head of the Mykolaiv RMA confirmed that he was indeed inclined to do so. However, he did not specify which elections he was talking about.

«I'm not sure, but I think it's more likely than not. Before that, I always said that I had not made this decision, but now I see that it is more yes than no,» he said.
