Before the heating season, Denmark, in cooperation with UNOPS, handed over 10 emergency repair vehicles to the Mykolaiv region.
This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
On Wednesday, 8 October, during a meeting with the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim, representatives of Denmark handed over 10 emergency repair vehicles for the needs of the Mykolaiv region. The keys to the vehicles were personally handed over to the drivers by Morten Bødskov, Minister of Business, Industry and Financial Affairs of Denmark. In addition, the newly appointed Ambassador of Denmark to Ukraine Thomas Lund-Sørensen paid a working visit to the city.
It is known that four vehicles will be handed over to the regional utility company «Mykolaivoblteploenergo», and six more to other communities in the region: Buhske, Nova Odesa, Stepove, Novyi Buh, Pervomaisk settlement and Pivdenoukrainsk territorial communities.
According to Vitalii Kim, such assistance is extremely important for preparing for the heating season and restoring critical infrastructure in the face of a constant threat from the enemy.

The Mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, also noted the usefulness of these vehicles. He stressed that the emergency repair vehicles are particularly important for the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivoblteploenergo», as it is currently actively preparing for the winter.
«On the eve of the heating season, we are receiving new emergency vehicles that will be transferred to our enterprise «Mykolaivoblteploenergo». I am confident that this equipment will work for the benefit of our citizens,» he said.
As reported earlier, NikVesti wrote that Denmark had appointed a new ambassador to Ukraine, a cybersecurity specialist and ex-intelligence officer.
