US President Donald Trump said he was disappointed with Russia's actions and promised to make an important statement about it on Monday.

He said this in an interview with NBC News.

«I'm disappointed with Russia, but we'll see what happens over the next few weeks. I think I'll make an important announcement on Monday about it», Donald Trump said.

In addition, he announced a new agreement between the US, NATO and Ukraine on the supply of US weapons. According to him, the agreement was reached during the NATO summit last month.

«We are transferring weapons to NATO, and NATO is paying for these supplies in full — 100%. That is, we provide weapons to the Alliance, and NATO transfers them to Ukraine and pays for them», Donald Trump explained.

Earlier, President of the United States Donald Trump told reporters that Vladimir Putin has no intention of ending the war.

As a reminder, Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin. It lasted about an hour. According to Yurii Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, Trump again raised the issue of ending the war against Ukraine as soon as possible. In response, Vladimir Putin allegedly told him that Russia «would pursue its goal and would not back down from it». At the same time, Putin noted in his conversation with Trump that Russia was ready to continue negotiations with Ukraine.

Also recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he did not rule out the possibility of peace talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but questioned his right to sign any international agreements.
