MP Dombrovska asks the SES to explain why a rescuer who starred in «MasterChef» was fired

Photo from the pages of the MasterChef projectTetiana Dombrovska, a deputy of the Mykolaiv City Council from the «Servant of the People» party, sent a request to the regional department of the State Emergency Service to find out the details of the dismissal of Major Olesia Babii, who lost her job after participating in the «MasterChef» show.
The MP posted this on her Facebook page.
The story went viral after it became known that an employee of the State Emergency Service was punished for her participation in a well-known culinary project. Tetiana Dombrovska considers the situation unfair.
«I am still convinced that in modern Ukraine, every woman — regardless of her profession — should have the opportunity to fulfil herself. Each of us has our own vocation — and often more than one. We can be strong at work, caring at home, creative in our favourite business, and it is very important that women have space for attempts, development and dreams. I wish there was more support, understanding and respect for this choice in our country,» wrote Tetiana Dombrovska.

It should be noted that Olesia Babii has worked in the department for 10 years. In March, she became one of the top 20 contestants of the 15th season of the cooking show «MasterChef».
