This was stated in his post on Truth Social.
Trump described how he read last night that Putin «made my Ambassador Extraordinary and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff wait for more than 9 hours, when in fact there was no wait at all».
He also said that the rest of the meetings with other Russian representatives «took some time» and were «very productive».
«In summary, there was no nine-hour wait or any wait at all! The only reason why they made up this story is to try to humiliate because they are sick degenerates who need to start reporting the news correctly. Because of this, they have lost their rating, their audience, their respect», Donald Trump said.
As a reminder, US President Donald Trump posted that he had a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The White House clarified that it was Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Vitkoff, not the American leader, who spoke to him.
