On the night of June 7, due to the Russian combined air attack on the territory of Ukraine, Poland together with the allied countries raised military planes into the air.

This is stated in the message of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland.

According to the Polish military, their aircraft began operating in Polish airspace, and warned that this «may lead to an increase in noise levels, especially in the southeastern part of the country.»

«Tonight (June 7, note) intensive activity of long-range aviation of the Russian Federation is observed, related to the task of strikes with cruise missiles, Shahed unmanned aerial systems and ballistic missiles against objects located, including in the western territory of Ukraine» says the announcement.

Also, the Polish military reminded that «before that, the activity of the Russian aviation during strikes on the western regions of Ukraine was recorded on the night of June 1.»

«All the necessary procedures have been initiated to ensure the safety of Polish airspace, and the Operational Command of the RSZ is constantly monitoring the situation,» added the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces.
