Firefighters extinguished a fire that arose due to enemy shelling in the Mykolaiv region

On the morning of May 28, the Russians attacked a civilian facility in Ochakiv with drones. The attack caused a fire.

This is reported by the Main Department of the State Service for Emergency Situations in the Mykolaiv Region.

It is noted that a two-story building, where a store and a fitness hall are located, caught fire due to shelling. Currently, these premises are not in use due to the security situation.

The fire of the ceiling of the building on the second floor was eliminated by firefighters of 22 state fire and rescue units with an area of 15 square meters.

There was no information about the victims.

5 firefighters and 1 special vehicle were involved in extinguishing the fire.

We will remind that on Saturday, May 25 , 20 fires were extinguished in the Mykolaiv region, 6 of them in the residential sector.
