An explosion occurred in a bank in the center of Chernihiv

Around 4 o'clock in the morning on May 6, the police received a report about an explosion in the premises of a bank in the center of Chernihiv.

As a result of the explosion, a fire broke out, the building was damaged, the police of Chernihiv region reported.

There are no injured people. Rescuers of the State Emergency Service, investigative and operational teams of the police, explosives experts, and the local police are currently working at the scene.

Information about the event was entered into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional destruction or damage to property by means of an explosion).

We will remind you that on April 24,an explosion of an unknown explosive device took place in Mykolaiv, which caused cars to move.

It is noted that as a result of the explosion , two soldiers were killed and two more were wounded. Cars that were near the epicenter of the explosion were also involved.

During the elimination of the fire, there was another explosion that injured five rescuers who came to the call.
