The Ukrainian military, with the help of the HIMARS surface-to-air missile, probably struck the Russian S-300/400 air defense systems in the Belgorod region.
This was reported by the Astra and Crimean Wind telegram channels.
The publication Astra suggests that the attack was carried out yesterday, June 2, at the place of deployment of the Russian army in the Korochan district. Several pieces of equipment burned there, and as a result of the detonation of the ammunition, the secretary of the district security council was killed, as well as the heads of the administration and rural settlements and three soldiers were wounded.
According to media reports, at least two launchers and three auxiliary vehicles were destroyed. In addition, the radar can be disabled. It is worth noting that it is from these complexes that the occupiers regularly shell Kharkiv.
It will be recalled that the head of the committee on foreign affairs of the French parliament, Jean-Louis Bourlanger, called for the lifting of the ban on Ukraine striking Russian territory with French weapons.

British Foreign Minister David Cameron said that London does not object to the use of weapons against targets inside the Russian Federation. The Czech Republic and the Baltic States also granted the relevant permission.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Elina Valtonen, said that a country waging a defensive war can strike military facilities on the aggressor's territory if it is necessary for self-defense.
Denmark also supports Ukraine's right to strike its weapons against military targets in Russia, this is part of Kyiv's self-defense.
