Drone attack in Kharkiv: maternity hospital damaged, nine wounded

On the morning of 10 July, at around 5:30 a.m., the Russian army attacked Kharkiv with drones. One of the strikes hit residential buildings in the city centre and in the Saltovskyi district.
This was reported by the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov.
According to him, several buildings were damaged, including a maternity hospital, where women in labour with babies were staying at the time of the attack. The women and their children are being evacuated to another medical facility. A total of nine people were injured: 2 men and 7 women. Most of them suffered acute stress reactions, and one person was injured by glass shards. The victims included three women in labour and three newborn boys, two of whom were born on 9 July and one on 8 July.
One of the shells hit a three-storey building, where a fire broke out over an area of about 20 square metres. Another hit was recorded in a yard.
On the night of 11 July, air defence forces in Mykolaiv region shot down 11 enemy kamikaze drones of the type «Shahed 131/136».
