Russian shelling damaged more than 230 gas networks in Kherson region in May

Kherson region. Photo: most.ks.uaIn May, specialists of «Khersongaz» localised 232 damages to gas networks caused by shelling in the right-bank part of Kherson region.
This was reported on the Facebook page of JSC «Khersongaz».
In particular, the company's employees repaired 77 damages to distribution networks and 155 damages to internal consumer networks.
They also repaired 32 distribution networks and 31 at consumer addresses. Thanks to this work, gas supply was restored to 571 homes.
As a reminder, in late May, gas supply to three settlements on the right bank of the Kherson region was temporarily cut off due to damage to a high-pressure gas pipeline. The shelling damaged the above-ground hub section of the pipeline between two villages.
It should be noted that «Ukrenergo» warned about the next heating season. In particular, they noted that it would be difficult due to Russian attacks on gas production facilities. Losses have already reached almost 50% of total gas production.
