Russian strike on warehouses in Mykolaiv caused ₴84 million in losses

As a result of the Russian shelling of Mykolaiv on 17 April this year, warehouses with household goods were damaged.
As a result, 1,474 square metres of land were contaminated, and the volume of destroyed waste was 1,320 cubic metres, according to the State Environmental Inspectorate of the South-Western District.
Preliminary environmental damage was estimated at 84 million hryvnias. The materials are being transferred to the Operational Headquarters of the State Environmental Inspectorate for inclusion in the unified register of environmental damage caused by the war.
The attack also caused a fire. According to firefighters, due to the large amount of flammable materials, the fire spread quickly and covered an area of about 700 square metres.
