Recreation centre burns down in Kyiv due to falling drone debris, woman injured

Fires have broken out in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv as a result of the fall of enemy drone debris.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko, a private house and cars caught fire. Medics and rescuers were sent to the scene.

He later added that there was a woman who was injured and was being treated on the spot. It also became known that a three-storey building of a recreation centre in the area was completely burnt down.

Earlier, it was reported that air defence forces were active in Kyiv and the region. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, confirmed that debris had fallen in the Desnianskyi district.

On 28 April, Russian troops also attacked Mykolaiv region with FPV drones and artillery. In one of the villages, a private house was damaged as a result of one of the attacks.
