This was reported by the mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, and the State Emergency Service.
It is noted that the strikes on Kharkiv were carried out by ballistic missiles with cluster munitions. That is why the damage areas are very large. According to preliminary information, more than 20 apartment buildings were damaged.
The State Emergency Service reported that as of 11 am, the number of victims had increased to 82 people, including 6 children.
«The number of victims in Kharkiv has increased to 82, including 6 children», the statement said.
It is also reported that rescuers managed to extinguish the fire on the territory of a civilian enterprise. Emergency rescue operations are underway at another address, at the site of a hit to a residential area.
