Rescuers in Odesa region have received a Magirus Wolf C1 robot that will help extinguish fires in dangerous areas inaccessible to people.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) in Odesa region.

«The future has come — robots are among us. And we are happy about this, as this modern robot can become a valuable assistant at the scenes of dangerous events, exactly where firefighters cannot get close to the fire — they will be able to extinguish the flames from a safe distance», said the SES.

Over the past day, seven fires broke out in private areas in Mykolaiv region. In the village of Kalacheve, Bashtanka district, a house caught fire, killing a young child born in 2022.
