Man explodes on mine in Kherson region

Deminers work on a mined field near Snihurivka, March 2024, archive photo «NikVesti»In the Kherson region, a 42-year-old local resident exploded on a mine near a reservoir between Bilozerka and Pryozerne.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The man sustained an explosive injury, as well as shrapnel wounds and a fractured shoulder and forearm. He was taken to hospital.
Doctors are currently examining him and providing all necessary assistance.
As a reminder, in 2024, 257,000 hectares of land were cleared of mines on the right bank of Kherson regiont, which is 62% of the total area.
