This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
It is noted that these figures are not final. Work on their installation in places of hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, continues.
«More than 1,740 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of February 6, 2024, according to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 523 children were killed and more than 1,217 were injured of various degrees of severity,» the message reads.
Children were most affected in the following areas:
- Donetsk region — 508;
- Kharkiv region — 328;
- Kyiv region — 130;
- Kherson region — 146;
- Zaporizhzhia region — 100;
- Mykolaiv region — 101;
- Dnipropetrovsk region — 111;
- Chernihiv region — 72;
- Luhansk region — 67.
We will remind that at night, on February 6, the Russians attacked Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district, Kharkiv region, hitting a hotel. A baby died.
